This role involves working in a live-in setting or on a scheduled basis, ensuring clients' safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the night. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve while working within a supportive team environment. Duties Provide overnight personal supports and care for clients in either a live-in or scheduled setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, grooming, and health monitoring. Administer medications as required, following proper protocols and documentation procedures. Support clients using person-centered strategies and behavior management techniques tailored to individual needs. Collect basic data on client progress and routines; maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding any changes or observations. Safely drive or accompany clients to appointments and community activities to promote independence and social engagement. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and emergency procedures, including first aid and CPR when necessary. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure seamless care delivery. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred or will be provided through agency training. Strong client communication skills are essential for building trust and understanding client needs. Experience with medication administration is highly desirable. A minimum of one year of related experience or work in associated fields is preferred. Ability to pass a Level 2 background check is mandatory. $15.00 per hour
