Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development in accordance with age-appropriate standards Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development best practices, maintaining a secure environment, and following mandated reporting laws when necessary Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to share updates on progress, behaviors, and any concerns Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices for young children Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and developmental milestones to support ongoing care plans Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nanny roles is highly valued Demonstrated experience caring for infants through elementary school-age children with a focus on childhood development principles Knowledge of early childhood education methods and activity planning tailored to young learners Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification to ensure immediate response during emergencies Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus Understanding of behavior management strategies and classroom experience that foster positive interactions Ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members while adhering to mandated reporting laws Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children thrive!
