Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Companions to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings and possess a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those they serve. Duties Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation Medication reminders to ensure adherence to prescribed schedules Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct support professional is preferred Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor changes in health status Experience in assisted living or group home settings is beneficial Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in providing quality care Ability to follow care plans accurately while maintaining flexibility based on client needs Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
