Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support mobility and transfers using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for changes in condition or behavior Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, observations, and progress in accordance with healthcare standards Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities and conversation Experience Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings preferred Group home experience or assisted living experience highly valued Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, and hospice care practices Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and resident rights within healthcare environments Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance Training or certification in CPR, first aid, and manual handling techniques required or preferred Home health or home & community care experience demonstrating ability to work independently and adapt to various client needs Join us if you're passionate about making a difference through dedicated caregiving!
