Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote health and comfort. Maintain a clean, safe living environment through regular cleaning duties, laundry assistance, and organization of personal spaces. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging in meaningful activities that enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Qualifications Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities, or in senior care environments like assisted living or nursing homes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfers confidently. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics.
