Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition, ensuring safety at all times Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and rights Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption to promote health and comfort Support patient transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings, ensuring punctuality and safety during travel Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable Proven ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and assist with medication administration Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities Knowledge of patient rights, HIPAA compliance, care plans development, and resident's rights advocacy Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and safe manual handling practices Competence in providing personal transportation assistance and supporting clients with ADLs in home or community settings Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and other relevant healthcare training are preferred but not mandatory; ongoing training opportunities available Join us to empower individuals through compassionate caregiving!
