Duties Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism, or developmental disabilities through tailored care strategies Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and assist with meal service to promote health and well-being Maintain a clean environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are met Document observations meticulously in accordance with care plans and report any changes or concerns promptly to nursing staff or supervisors Engage residents in social activities to foster community involvement and emotional well-being Follow all safety protocols including CPR/First Aid certification procedures during emergencies or incidents Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health care, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to provide patient observation and monitor health status effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer's disease or dementia enhances your ability to deliver specialized care Familiarity with patient monitoring tools such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids is advantageous Strong background in caregiving roles involving long-term care or hospice settings demonstrates resilience and compassion for vulnerable populations Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual receives the respectful care they deserve.
