Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Activity Assistant to join our team in providing engaging and enriching activities for our residents in an assisted living facility. If you have a passion for working with seniors and creating a positive impact on their daily lives, we welcome you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a variety of activities to cater to the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Assist in organizing and leading group activities such as games, crafts, music sessions, and outings
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities meet individual preferences and requirements
- Support residents in memory care and dementia care units with specialized activities
- Provide aging issues counseling and emotional support to residents as needed
- Collaborate with the caregiving team to enhance the overall quality of life for seniors
Requirements:
- Experience or interest in working in assisted living or nursing home environments
- Strong organizational skills for effective schedule management of activities
- Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with seniors and their families
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about memory care, dementia care, and aging issues counseling

Pay:
$18.00- $19.
