Hexcel is currently seeking a Document Control Specialist (1st Shift) for our Amesbury, MA location. Onsite Monday

PM EST Salary Range:

$60,000

•$75,000 The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Manages controlled document change requests via the engineering change request (ECR) process including updating ECR forms and logs. Reviews Controlled Documents of all types (such as policies, procedures, work instructions, specifications, test methods, control plans, forms, etc.) to ensure proper formatting, numbering, revision history, distribution and functional approvals. Circulates new and revised documents for review and approval. Obtains and maintains records of document approvals. Posts copies of controlled released documents within the appropriate network folders. Sends out document release notifications and maintains Document Control Master Lists Assists in creating new documents and editing existing documents as needed. Utilizes existing databases and query tools to generate various reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Obtains and maintains copies of requested industry standards, test methods and specifications (such as ANSI, ISO and ASTM). Prepares CoC and CoA documents in accordance with requirements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. Related work experience in document control preferred. Highly proficient in using the Microsoft Office tools including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Organized and detail oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of work. Affinity for documentation with a mindset for thoroughness and accuracy. Professional communication skills both written and verbal. Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision, while keeping management informed. Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to ensure commitments are met.
