Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition, while maintaining detailed care plans Administer medication and manage medication schedules in accordance with healthcare protocols and HIPAA regulations Support patients with mobility using proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or social activities to promote community engagement Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding changes in condition or concerns Deliver specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, or other neurodevelopmental disabilities Uphold residents' rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and autonomy at all times during caregiving activities Experience Prior experience working with seniors or in assisted living facilities is highly desirable Proven background in home health care or long-term care environments demonstrating familiarity with patient monitoring and care plans Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or dementia Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; ongoing training in caregiving techniques is a plus Familiarity with medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring in compliance with healthcare standards Join us as an In Home Caregiver to empower individuals through compassionate support while building a fulfilling career dedicated to making a positive impact every day!
