Job Description:

Bay City Comfort Care, a welcoming and supportive assisted living community, is seeking compassionate and dedicated on-call/casual Caregivers or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, with shifts available in 8, 12, or 16-hour options. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about providing excellent care to elderly residents and can work at least 1 shifts per month to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating Provide personal care and support in a respectful and dignified manner Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff Assist with medication management under the guidance of nursing staff Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents Engage with residents to enhance their quality of life Ensure all care documentation is accurate and up-to-date

Requirements:

Must be able to work at least 1 shift per month Ability to work a flexible schedule with shifts available in 8, 12, or 16-hour options Previous experience in an assisted living, long-term care, or similar healthcare environment required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed Compassionate, patient, and reliable
