Bay City, MI$20.00-$22.40 per hour One Client One Home Consistent Schedule We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Direct Care Professional to provide one-on-one support for an adult with physical and developmental disabilities in a private home setting. This is one client in one home—not a facility and not multiple clients.
Required Schedule Monday-Friday:
2:30 PM-10:30 PM Open weekend availability is required if coverage is needed. Occasional first-shift coverage may be required. Please apply only if you can work the required schedule. The hours for this position are not negotiable. Responsibilities Implement Person-Centered Plan (PCP) goals Community outings and community participation Hoyer lift transfers Standing program using adaptive equipment Gait training with a pacer Mobility assistance and therapeutic positioning Personal care, hygiene, toileting, and brief changes Meal preparation and feeding assistance Light housekeeping related to the client's care Safety supervision Accurate daily documentation Physical Requirements This is a physically active position and requires the ability to: Lift, bend, stoop, kneel, and reposition safely Perform Hoyer lift transfers Push and maneuver adaptive equipment Provide hands-on physical assistance throughout the shift Qualifications Reliable transportation Dependable attendance Ability to work independently Strong communication skills Experience as a DSP, CNA, Home Health Aide, caregiver, or related field preferred Paid training provided for the right candidate Benefits Competitive pay: $20.00-$22.40 per hour Paid training Paid time off One consistent client Stable weekday second-shift schedule Opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day If you are dependable, compassionate, and able to work the required schedule, we encourage you to apply.
