General Summary:

Responsible for providing an educational and safe living environment to physically challenging residents with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To foster the mission of St. Louis Center, a faith-based organization, in proclaiming the Gospel through the service of charity. Develop, Implement, and maintain daily living routine in assigned residential program. Complete all required residential program documentation. Develop and Implement client community involvement. Monitor client activity; ensure home and unit security, and providing routine time checks. Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

CPR and First Aid Certification. Knowledge of general fire safety. Knowledge of Crisis Prevention Intervention. Ability to maintain composure in a stressful environment. Ability to operate a 15 passenger vehicle. Ability to plan and prioritize work. Ability to communicate.

Education and Experience:

This position requires the equivalent of a High School Diploma/GED, and a Valid Drivers License.' '
