Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development best practices and behavior management techniques Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on their child's progress and daily activities Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care tailored to individual needs Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play while following daycare or classroom guidelines Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings Demonstrated experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience managing behavior through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies Familiarity with activity planning for children that encourages growth and engagement Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in childhood development or special needs care is a plus Ability to follow mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality in caregiving situations This role is ideal for compassionate individuals passionate about nurturing young minds and supporting families.
