Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Second Shift Caregiver/MedTech to join our compassionate team in providing exceptional care to residents during evening hours. In this vital role, you will support residents with daily personal care, medication administration, and health monitoring, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for our residents, many of whom require specialized memory and dementia care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities while working in a dynamic, supportive setting. Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support in accordance with care plans Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities within electronic health record (EHR) systems Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to track health status Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, toileting, catheter care, and tube feeding procedures Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect resident confidentiality Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies using first aid and CPR skills; escalate issues as necessary Document resident progress, changes in condition, and care interventions clearly within electronic medical records (EMR systems) Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or home care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of geriatric physiology, anatomy, dementia care, Alzheimer's disease, hospice care, and senior living facility operations Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA and state Board of Nursing standards for medication administration and patient privacy Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is a plus Excellent communication skills for caregiver interactions and team collaboration Must demonstrate compassion, patience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively during evening hours on the second shift Join us in delivering compassionate care that truly makes a difference! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
