Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Direct Care Professional working the night shift, where your compassionate care and proactive support make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will provide around-the-clock assistance, ensuring safety, stability, and personalized care for individuals within the facility. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in medical documentation, time management, compassion, and empathy. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care during overnight hours, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications following prescribed protocols. Support individuals with disabilities and geriatric care needs. Document medical records accurately, including progress notes, and behavioral data collection in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and mobility support to promote independence. Collaborate with social workers and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Maintain a safe environment through vigilant supervision, behavior management techniques, and adherence to all safety protocols. Requirements Prior experience working within the assisted living environment is preferred. Ability to work overnight shifts consistently while maintaining high energy levels and positive engagement. Strong understanding of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of confidentiality in handling medical records and sensitive information. Excellent communication skills for data collection, and collaborating effectively with team members. Willingness to obtain relevant certifications is appreciated. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
