Job Description
Job Summary Higher wage scale! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregiver to provide high-quality care to our residents in a supportive and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying needs. We are a smaller Assisted Living community with a farmhouse and encompassing the up north, homelike feel. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of each resident while ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring any changes are communicated to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Administer medications as directed by RN, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene standards and conducting regular housekeeping tasks. Support residents with developmental disabilities by fostering independence through personalized care plans. Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies, utilizing first aid skills when necessary. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive community atmosphere that encourages social interaction among residents. Qualifications High School Education or Diploma Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or assisting residents as needed. A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and improving the lives of others.
