Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homemaker to provide essential support and care to individuals in a home or community setting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensure a safe and clean environment, and promote the well-being of residents. Responsibilities Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with care plans and dietary restrictions Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment Observe and report any changes in client' health or behavior to healthcare professionals Assist with transfers Follow all safety protocols, including first aid, CPR, and infection control procedures Support residents with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized care techniques Skills Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and Alzheimer's care practices Ability to perform patient monitoring and observe for changes in condition or behavior Familiarity with medication administration and care plans adherence Strong cleaning skills and attention to maintaining a hygienic environment Compassionate approach to working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions and safety protocols Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams Physical ability for heavy lifting, assisting with transfers, and long periods of standing or walking This role is vital in providing high-quality home health and senior care services.
