Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Nanny/Caregiver to provide attentive, nurturing, and reliable care for children in a private home setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering positive development while ensuring the well-being of the children. This paid position emphasizes professionalism, flexibility, and a genuine love for caregiving. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences. Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, diapering, and nap schedules to promote healthy habits. Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, reading sessions, and age-appropriate learning experiences. Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored caregiving strategies and working closely with families or specialists. Maintain a clean and organized living environment through residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning toys, laundry, and child-related areas. Provide personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs/pick-ups or extracurricular activities when required. Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations following proper protocols. Collaborate with parents to communicate daily updates on children's activities, progress, and any concerns. Skills Proven experience working with children in various settings such as nannying, babysitting, daycare centers, or private homes. Strong knowledge of childcare practices including infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and working with children with disabilities. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies. Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas and residential housekeeping duties. Skilled in meal preparation tailored to children's nutritional needs and dietary restrictions. Experience assisting with personal transportation for children safely and responsibly. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with families and children alike. Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a caring attitude that promotes a nurturing environment.
