This vital role ensures the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents or clients by monitoring their health, assisting with personal care, and maintaining a safe environment throughout the night. Responsibilities Monitor residents' or clients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition during overnight shifts. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility support, and medication assistance following care plans. Conduct patient observation to identify any changes in condition or behavior that require immediate attention or escalation. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, vital signs, medication logs, and incident reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols. Provide emotional support and companionship while respecting residents' rights and promoting dignity at all times. Experience Candidates should have prior experience working as a caregiver in settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease is highly valued. Familiarity with care plans, medication assistance, patient monitoring techniques, and resident rights is essential. This position is currently a part time opportunity for someone interested in a 13-14 hour overnight shift on Saturdays. There is opportunity to pickup additional shifts as well for more hours. The shift time is typically 6p - 730 am. This is a minimal assistance facility and does not use Hoyer lifts, or require an LNA license.
