Job Description

Job Overview We are hiring a Peer Support Specialist to work directly with residents at Swan Lake Adult Home. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, building meaningful connections, and supporting individuals with their everyday wellness and recovery goals. What You'll Do Meet one-on-one with residents on your caseload Provide peer-to-peer emotional and practical support Help residents build confidence, independence, and social skills Encourage residents to participate in activities and stay connected Support residents with their individual wellness and recovery goals Complete a progress note after each session Communicate with the clinical team when additional support is needed What We're Looking For New York Certified Peer Specialist (NYCPS) credential Caring, patient, dependable, and professional Strong communication and people skills Comfortable working with adults with behavioral health needs Able to complete clear and timely documentation Available to work in person at Swan Lake Adult Home Why Join Us?
