Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospitality Aide to provide exceptional support and care to residents in long-term care, assisted living, or residential care settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior and disability care, with experience in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), medication management, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. As a Hospitality Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life by delivering personalized assistance with kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Support residents with medication reminders and basic health monitoring, including vital signs when trained and authorized. Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to foster mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within resident rooms, common areas, and care equipment to ensure a safe environment. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs while adhering to specific nutritional guidelines for residents. Support safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury for both residents and staff. Document resident interactions accurately in compliance with facility policies and communicate effectively with healthcare teams. Perform light housekeeping duties as needed to uphold a clean and comfortable living environment for all residents. Experience Previous assisted living or nursing home experience is highly desirable, especially within geriatrics or memory care settings. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Familiarity with medication administration procedures, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid/CPR certification. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in group home environments is advantageous. Knowledge of safe patient lifting practices, manual handling techniques, and infection control protocols. Long-term care experience that includes personal care home or retirement home settings is preferred. Proven ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals in a respectful manner.
