Whether working with toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs, you'll play a vital role in promoting growth, learning, and well-being through attentive caregiving and activity planning. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Develop and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early education, and behavioral management Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, potty training, and nap times in accordance with best practices and safety standards Ensure a safe environment by adhering to mandated reporting laws and maintaining child safety protocols at all times Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Administer first aid or CPR when necessary and maintain accurate health records for each child or individual in your care Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance to foster inclusion and participation Requirements Prior experience working with children across various settings such as daycare, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education programs Knowledge of childhood development stages and behavior management techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills for children of all ages Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for caregiving roles Embark on a rewarding career where your nurturing skills help shape bright futures!
