Home Care Intake & Training Coordinator FirstLight Home Care - 3.6 Salem, OR Job Details Full-time $19 - $24 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications Interpersonal skills Driver's License Organizational skills Patient interaction Time management Full Job Description Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Salem, OR FirstLight Home Care is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Home Care Intake & Training Coordinator to join our Salem office. This is a full-time position that combines office responsibilities with in-home client visits throughout the surrounding area. This role is a great fit for someone with a healthcare or caregiving background who enjoys working directly with clients and caregivers while also staying organized behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-home visits with new and existing clients Assist with new client intakes and ongoing client assessments Develop and update client care plans to give caregivers clear instructions for providing safe, individualized care Complete caregiver training and competency checks Provide hands-on guidance and support to caregivers Maintain and organize your own schedule of client visits and follow-ups Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff by phone and in person Work alongside the care coordination team and assist with scheduling needs when necessary Maintain accurate and timely client documentation Communicate changes in client condition, care needs, or concerns to the appropriate office staff Qualifications Previous healthcare, caregiving, home care, or related experience preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology Ability to understand client needs and translate them into clear, detailed care plans Strong computer skills and ability to learn electronic scheduling/documentation systems Comfortable communicating professionally by phone, email, and in person Excellent organization and time-management skills Ability to independently manage a schedule of in-home visits and follow-ups Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable driving a company vehicle to client homes Dependable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Full-time position based out of our Salem office , with regular local travel to client homes. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can build strong relationships with clients and caregivers while keeping the details organized. The right person will be confident entering client homes, asking appropriate questions, identifying care needs, training caregivers, and ensuring our care team has the information they need to provide excellent care.
Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
