Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to a young adult in Hollidaysburg. The ideal candidate will be energetic and detail-oriented. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient conditions, and behavioral changes Administer medication and assist with medication management according to care plans and HIPAA regulations Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while adhering to dietary restrictions Document care activities accurately, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Skills Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Strong communication skills Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities.
