Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development based on child development principles Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Follow all mandated reporting laws and health protocols to ensure compliance with safety standards Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other daily routines with patience and compassion Collaborate with team members to plan educational activities that support early childhood education goals and developmental milestones Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education best practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in first aid is encouraged Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for infants Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Join us in creating a nurturing environment where infants can thrive!
