Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to childhood development best practices, behavior management techniques, and mandated reporting laws. Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations while maintaining calmness and professionalism. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster trust and transparency. Support early childhood education by teaching foundational skills through play-based learning experiences. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages safe play and learning opportunities for children. Experience Prior experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Demonstrated experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, or youth programs teaching roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive behavior in children. Ability to communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children's needs and progress.
