This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering attentive personal care, health monitoring, and companionship. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods. Monitor patients' health status by observing your client, recognizing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals and family . Assist in administering medications . Prepare light meals. Support clients with home management tasks such as maintaining a safe living environment. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation. Assist with ensuring safety during client transfers using appropriate patient transfer techniques. Qualifications Proven experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; experience using equipment like nebulizers is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction . Experience working with diverse populations including with different cultures. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
