Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated PRN Caregivers to provide high-quality, personalized care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, home health, and community care environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients through attentive caregiving, patient observation, and support with daily activities. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, documenting findings accurately. Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as necessary. Utilize appropriate transfer techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe mobility and prevent injury. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing client spaces. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a respectful and engaging atmosphere for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care. Skills Proven experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care environments with a focus on senior or disability care. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs measurement, and medication management. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in Alzheimer's or dementia care is highly desirable. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with patient transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder enhances caregiving effectiveness. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple care tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients respectfully and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
