This role is essential to ensuring residents receive assistance with daily living activities, emotional support, and a safe, comfortable living environment. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration monitoring Support residents with medication reminders (non-clinical, per facility guidelines) Maintain a clean, safe living environment including room tidiness and laundering personal items Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a supportive community Document care provided in accordance with facility policies Observe and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior to appropriate staff Assist with recreational, social, or wellness activities as needed Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines Qualifications Previous caregiver or assisted living experience preferred but not required Ability to lift, move, or transfer residents safely (per facility protocols) Strong communication skills, patience, and compassion Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced caregiving environment Must pass background checks and meet state training requirements Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
