We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver to provide support for our 24-year-old son, Alex. Alex is nonverbal and has developmental disabilities. He enjoys music, dancing, WWE, his iPad, and community outings. The ideal candidate will be caring, attentive, safety-conscious, and able to build a positive relationship with him while supporting his daily routine. Responsibilities Provide supervision and companionship in a safe and supportive environment Assist with daily living activities as needed Encourage participation in activities, exercise, and community outings Engage Alex in activities he enjoys, including music, dancing, WWE, games, and iPad activities Follow established schedules and routines Monitor behavior, mood, and overall well-being Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed Assist with light housekeeping related to Alex's care Communicate regularly with family regarding activities, meals, concerns, and accomplishments Complete a simple daily report documenting the day's activities Provide transportation to community activities, appointments, or outings when needed Qualifications Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, special needs, or elderly individuals preferred Reliable, patient, and trustworthy Strong communication skills Able to remain calm in challenging situations Dependable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect family privacy Desired Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is: Kind and compassionate Patient and understanding Dependable and punctual Energetic and engaging Observant and safety-minded Able to take direction and follow routines Comfortable working independently

Schedule Hours:

Monday-Friday, approximately 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (or as agreed upon)
