Why Caregivers Like Working for Care Matters Home Care Competitive pay Weekly pay Flexible scheduling Paid training and development Mileage reimbursement for travel between clients Mobile clock in/out Bonuses for employee referrals Caregiver recognition and support Direct access to leadership, no corporate runaround, you'll know who you're talking to Make a difference and give back to those who need it most Responsibilities and Duties In this role, you'll perform personal care activities that assist clients with daily living, including (but not limited to): Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home Light housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning the bathroom Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments Bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving assistance Medication reminders Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises Dementia care support Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, and conversation Qualifications and Skills High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance Must pass a background check (per Virginia barrier crimes requirements) CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred, but not required, we provide training
