Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Residential Aide to join our residential substance use treatment team. In this vital role, you will provide direct support to individuals recovering from substance use disorders, helping them navigate their journey toward wellness. Duties Assist clients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, medication administration, and meal preparation, ensuring safety and dignity at all times Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical staff, and therapists to coordinate comprehensive mental health and behavioral care Provide direct supervision and support to residents during assigned shifts. Assist residents with daily routines, meals, housekeeping expectations, and scheduled program activities. Observe changes in residents' behavior or well-being and promptly report concerns to the appropriate staff. Use approved de-escalation and crisis response procedures when needed. Complete shift notes, resident observations, and incident reports accurately and on time. Assist with resident orientation and reinforce program expectations. Communicate important updates to the incoming shift and program leadership. Maintain resident confidentiality and professional boundaries. Requirements Experience in residential care, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related setting preferred. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines while managing medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills. Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during challenging situations. Willingness to complete required training, including CPR, first aid, and crisis response training. Availability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, or awake overnights as needed. Schedule Day, evening, and awake overnight shifts are available.
