Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver HCA/CNA to join our team. As a Caregiver HCA/CNA, you will provide direct in-home care and support to individuals with disabilities, dementia, or other special needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing direct in-home care and support to clients Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Preparing meals and assisting with meals as needed Assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing Providing companionship and engaging clients in meaningful activities Following care plans and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times
Requirements:
1 year of experience in caregiving (required) Certificate-level education (required) HCA or CNA license (preferred) Ability to provide patient-centered care and adapt to the unique needs of each individual Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals Knowledge of ADLs and ability to assist clients with personal care tasks Familiarity with client rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others
Working Conditions:
Part-time position with flexible scheduling 20-40 hours per week, depending on client needs and schedule availability Day shift (required) Weekends as needed (required) May be required to work evening or overnight shifts as needed
