Job Summary A professional downtown law firm in San Diego, CA is seeking a Personal Injury Legal Case Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a self-motivated legal support professional with 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys client communication, case coordination, and supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal services environment. The Legal Case Manager will serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, requiring empathy, sensitivity, organization, and consistent follow-through. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, providing proactive communication and responsive support.
  • Prepare client correspondence according to established communication plans and case procedures.
  • Gather, document, and update vital case information with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle client inquiries, troubleshoot concerns, and help resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Maintain organized client records through accurate data entry and consistent case documentation.
  • Support attorneys and internal teams by managing multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines efficiently. Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation:
    $54,100 per year.
  • Job type: Temp-to-hire. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Manage active personal injury case files and coordinate case information from intake through ongoing case development.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, collect information, and address questions or concerns.
  • Prepare client correspondence and maintain accurate legal case documentation.
  • Support attorneys and legal teams by tracking deadlines, priorities, and case-related tasks.
  • 3 to 5 years of legal support, legal case management, paralegal, or related law office experience.
  • Strong client service skills with the ability to communicate professionally, empathetically, and clearly.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong written communication skills for preparing client correspondence and case updates.
  • Comfortable maintaining accurate records, entering case data, and handling confidential client information.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented with a professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting personal injury matters in a law firm setting.
  • Familiarity with legal case management systems and electronic file maintenance
  • Docusign.
  • Prior experience working directly with clients throughout the legal case process.
