The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in case management and social work, with a focus on supporting residents in achieving stability and well-being. This role requires a proactive approach to crisis management, practical communication skills, and a thorough understanding of Fair Housing regulations. Responsibilities Tenancy Services provider-led case management consists of delivering Pre-tenancy and Tenancy Sustaining Services. Pre-tenancy Services include developing an individualized housing support plan, assisting with navigating the complexities of the housing application process from prospective tenant to tenant, and helping with the housing search. Additionally, these services involve identifying, coordinating, and securing resources to assist with housing costs and other expenses. Tenancy Sustaining Services include developing or revising an individualized housing support plan, assisting with the housing recertification processes, educating and training on the roles, rights, and responsibilities of the tenant and landlord, supporting the member in the development of independent living and tenancy skills, identifying and helping secure benefits or supports to help pay for rent and utilities, and providing assistance in addressing circumstances or behaviors that may jeopardize housing. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Refer clients to programs that support their needs, including addiction counseling and motivational interviewing. Conduct regular assessments of clients' needs and coordinate appropriate services. Negotiate lease agreements and handle tenant relations effectively. Provide crisis intervention support to clients facing challenges. Maintain accurate client records. Collaborate with social service agencies to facilitate access to resources for residents. Requirements A bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is preferred, with skills in case management and crisis management. Proven experience in supportive housing case management services. Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and community partners. Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
