II. JOB SUMMARY
You are passionate about helping people understand, embrace, and live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. To be a successful member of our team, you should have a strong work ethic, take initiative, and be moved to action by the mission of MON. You will conduct new MON client intakes and ensure every client has access to public benefits, medical appointments, and essential personal identification documents to help them be successful as they rebuild their lives and prepare for entry into the workplace.
III. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support clients with their insurance needs and maintain accurate insurance records. Conduct new MON client intakes and maintain orderly client files. Apply for SNAP Food Benefits and Medicaid. Manage SNAP Food Benefit cards and coordinate with MON Chef for grocery shopping. Ensure MON's compliance with THHSC guidelines, submit monthly SNAP reports, and stay in regular communication with local SNAP office. Coordinate with the other departments to schedule any requested client appointments and enter appointment details into Outlook Calendar. Initiate and maintain inter-program communication with staff and clients. Follow federal, state, and local regulations in assisting clients with obtaining government-issued ID documents and supplemental documents as needed. Respond to client staff requests regarding documents and administrative needs. Maintain orderly reporting of client care needs and processes. Process client discharge paperwork upon graduation or when a man leaves prior to program completion. Perform additional tasks as needed. Support clients with legal matters.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES
Education
  • High School diploma or GED certificate a plus Bachelor's degree in a human services field a plus Related Work Experience
  • 3+ years' experience of administrative work, 3+ years' experience in a human services field and 2+ years' experience in the non-profit sector a plus
V. WORKING CONDITIONS MON
employees are encouraged (not required) to attend All-City Worship on Tuesdays and Bread of Hope on Sundays.
