Job Description

1 position (Bessemer office) for Gogebic & Ontonagon County Non-Exempt, Employee-at-will. Up to 24 hours per week/full year Salary to commensurate with education/experience. The Coordinator is the main access point for community residents who are seeking assistance through Agency programs. Outreach staff is responsible for the direct programming of Client Advocacy, Emergency Needs, Tax Assistance, the Commodity Program and assisting clients in obtaining access to healthcare services. Outreach staff is the central intake staff for agency programs and assists clients with the application process to access the various programs within the Agency and with community partners. Background check, vehicle, and auto insurance required. Attendance is an essential function of the job. Minimum qualification of one year background training and/or experience in the field related to human services. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn client tracking software.
