The Behavioral Health Planning Council Liaison and Outreach Manager will: Serve in two capacities, Behavioral Health Planning Council (BHPC) Liaison and Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD) Outreach Manager; BHPC Liaison serves as an administrative coordinator for BHSD responsible for activities affiliated with BHPC and the following statutory subcommittees of the

BHPC:

Adult Substance Use Medicaid (ASUM); Native American Subcommittee (NASC); Children's and Adolescents Subcommittee (CASC). Coordinate outreach efforts within Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD); Serve as a bridge between agencies and community stakeholders. How does it get done? The Behavioral Health Planning Council Liaison and Outreach Manager is responsible for: Providing administrative coordination of the Behavioral Health Planning Council (BHPC) activities and Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD) Community Outreach Projects; Performing as the primary point of contact, direct support and the coordinator of outreach and community engagement functions for BHPC and BHSD; Coordinating logistics for BHPC and BHPC Sub-committees; Scheduling meetings, setting agendas, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives and responsibilities; Strengthening, supporting and mobilizing community partnerships; Budget and fiscal oversight; Supporting and representing BHSD and BHPC at statewide events and conferences across New Mexico. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must obtain a Defensive Driving certification. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting: Some late hours and weekends work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Some travel will be required.
