Community Inclusion & Activities Coordinator Full-Time | Multi-Site Position | Northwest Ohio Create Opportunities. Build Connections. Change Lives. Wiley Homes is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Community Inclusion & Activities Coordinator to develop meaningful recreational, educational, social, and community-based opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. You'll serve multiple Adult Day Services and Residential locations, ensuring that every individual has access to engaging, person-centered experiences that match their interests and goals. What You'll Do As the Community Inclusion & Activities Coordinator, you will: Research and develop creative, meaningful, and engaging activities throughout Northwest Ohio. Plan, coordinate, and schedule activities for multiple Adult Day Services and Residential locations. Create monthly activity calendars and coordinate special events. Research community events, festivals, parks, museums, libraries, volunteer opportunities, entertainment venues, educational programs, fitness activities, and local attractions. Build partnerships with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, recreation centers, and community groups. Coordinate reservations, admissions, transportation needs, and event logistics. Ensure activities are person-centered and reflect each individual's interests, abilities, preferences, and Individual Service Plan (ISP). Plan activities that remain within individual and program budgets. Identify free and low-cost community opportunities while maximizing participation and enjoyment. Work collaboratively with supervisors, Direct Support Professionals, transportation staff, and leadership to coordinate successful outings and events. Evaluate activities for accessibility, safety, cost, and overall value. Continually introduce new ideas and opportunities that encourage community inclusion, independence, and personal growth. What Makes You a Great Fit We're looking for someone who is: Creative and enthusiastic Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Excellent at planning and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Friendly, outgoing, and confident building relationships with community partners Passionate about helping others live meaningful, fulfilling lives Resourceful and able to find creative solutions while working within budgets Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to travel between multiple agency locations Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Event Planning, Marketing, Parks & Recreation, or a related field Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other human service populations Experience coordinating events, recreation programs, community activities, or volunteer programs Why You'll Love This Position Every day is different. Work Schedule This is a full-time, multi-site position. This position requires flexibility and may include evening, weekend, and occasional holiday hours based on program needs, community events, and activities. The Community Inclusion & Activities Coordinator is expected to adjust their schedule as necessary to ensure meaningful participation opportunities are available across all programs and locations.
