Job Description

Make a difference supporting students emotional and behavioral growth as a Behavior Coach/Interventionist in a dynamic educational setting near Peoria, AZ. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with young learners, guiding them toward meaningful change and personal development. The position begins immediately and will continue through May 20, 2026, offering a steady, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Bachelors degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field OR a Bachelors in education/special education and five years of experience with students with behavioral or emotional disabilities OR a Masters in education/special education and three years relevant experience Strong understanding or hands-on experience in applied behavioral interventions (ABA), crisis intervention, or counseling within an educational context Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain and maintain it Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct one-on-one and group behavioral interventions for students, using ABA or evidence-based strategies as appropriate Collaborate with teachers, school professionals, and families to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans Support classroom teachers with strategies that reinforce positive behavior and social/emotional learning Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust support as needed Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development opportunities Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive school environment for all students This position offers the chance to work closely with students of varying ages and needs, making a tangible impact each day.
