New Alternatives is seeking a motivated individual to join the team as a Youth Partner. The position works with children who are survivors of childhood abuse.

New Alternatives is a Trauma Informed Care facility who believes in helping to put an end to the generational cycle of abuse.

Qualifications:

Must be working towards Bachelor's Degree in related field OR 6 months experience working with children (volunteer work is acceptable) Must possess a valid California Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance and have access to reliable automobile Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide support to the child and family to promote stabilization of the family unit. Assist in transportation of youth Capability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with the child and family Maintain updated accurate case documentation of services provided Computer literate; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications Work as part of a team
