Type:

full-time Parent Partner | Parent's Pathway Program The Parent Partner uses their lived experience navigating the child welfare system to provide peer support, encouragement, and practical guidance to parents currently involved with child welfare. Working from a place of shared experience, Parent Partners help parents better understand the child welfare process, prepare for meetings and court hearings, strengthen self advocacy skills, identify personal goals, connect with community resources, and build the confidence needed to actively participate in their case and work toward reunification and family stability. This role is rooted in the values of peer support, mutuality, hope, empowerment, self determination, and meeting parents where they are. We are looking for someone who can transform their own lived experience into meaningful support for another parent while maintaining healthy boundaries, confidentiality, and professionalism.
