Foster Care Program:
Our Treatment Foster Care program offers a family-based placement option for children with serious behavioral, emotional, or medical health needs, who require more intensive interventions and supports more than traditional foster care is able to deliver. As a foster parent, you will offer a safe and calming placement for children/youth to address their behavioral and mental health struggles, with a goal of family reunification.
Perks of this position:
Up to $200/day reimbursement cost for providing a loving, caring, treatment level home and support to a child/youth. 24 hour on-call service and support Assigned case manager for assistance and support Ongoing foster parent training Foster Child medical and therapy expenses covered through Idaho Medicaid, including: Comprehensive assessment and individualized service planning Psychiatric/educational consultation Coordination of medical/healthcare services needed Coordination of birth family contact and visitation Wrap around mental health services (therapy, case management) What we a re looking for: At least 21 years old Own or rent a safe residence with space for a child Single or Married Flexible, energetic, and able to care for a child (no previous parenting experience required) Be open to learning new things Be able to pass a comprehensive background check and meet Idaho Child Care Licensing requirements.
