Qualifications:

Valid Illinois SSW License is required Professional Educator License (PEL) issued by the state of Illinois Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling to students across the district Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized intervention plans Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and the creation of safe learning environments Support special education processes including conducting evaluations and attending IEP meetings Offer resources and referrals for students and families in need Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with district guidelines
