Key Qualifications & Experience:

Hold valid licensure as a School Social Worker (Type 73 or equivalent for Illinois) Previous experience in school settings, specifically with elementary age students Comprehensive knowledge of MTSS, IEP, and 504 plans Comfort adapting to a district-wide caseload and collaborating with multiple teams Strong skills in assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and written documentation Ability to build rapport with students, families, and educators

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and indirect services to elementary students Conduct individual and group counseling, social skills training, and classroom support Evaluate student needs and participate in meetings to develop IEPs and intervention plans Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success Lead crisis response, facilitate referrals to outside agencies, and document all services in accordance with district and legal requirements
