9685883-60447 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a full-time School Social Worker. This position is conveniently based near Minooka, IL, and offers a meaningful chance to make a positive impact on children ages 3 to 5. The assignment is scheduled to begin on November 11th, 2026, and is expected to conclude on February 11th, 2027. Your workdays will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, with a 30-minute duty-free lunch each day. This role is in-person only and designed for an individual who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid and current school social work license or the equivalent for school-based positions Experience providing social work support in early childhood (ages 35) is strongly preferred Demonstrated success employing evidence-based interventions with young children Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention in educational settings Effective communication abilities for collaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Comfortable working in an onsite, in-person capacity (remote options are not available)

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct social work services to students in an early childhood setting, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioral support Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop targeted intervention plans Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and district specialists to promote students success Support development and implementation of IEPs and other student service plans Lead small group and individual counseling sessions addressing age-appropriate topics Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and interventions Embrace this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners while building valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.
