Monday-Friday 3:00PM- 11:30PM Training Period Hours (4-6 weeks): Monday-Friday 2:30PM

Monday-Friday 6:30AM- 3:00PM Occasional weekend hours in the summer

According to the Custodial Salary Scale FY27Starting Salary:
$50,158.00 plus nightly differential of 7% and an increase after 6 consecutive months of serviceJob Responsibilities:
The Building Custodian is generally responsible for the achievement of the purposes of custodian services in the building, i.e., preserve property values, protect health and safety of occupants; support the educational objectives of the building and provide a climate of learning, develop goodwill and maintain cleanliness and neatness- Grounds upkeep, snow removal
- Perform all other general duties as indicated by the Principal, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, the Custodial Supervisor or his/her designee, and policies of the Marlborough School Committee
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferrred but not required
- Physical and mental capabilities to perform above work
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Ability to understand spoken and written English.
