Bernalillo High School 148 Spartan Alley Bernalillo, NM 87004 Get Directions Temporary $15.00 - $15.00 per hour Bernalillo High School Posted 8/18/2026 Game Worker - High School Athletics Position Summary The Game Worker assists with the successful operation of high school athletic events by providing support before, during, and after games. This is an as-needed, event-based position and may include working evenings and weekends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with event setup and breakdown before and after athletic contests. Help prepare athletic facilities, equipment, and game areas. Assist coaches, officials, athletic staff, and spectators as needed. Operate or assist with the scoreboard, game clock, ticket sales, admissions, or other game-day duties as assigned. Monitor entrances and help ensure spectators follow school and athletic event guidelines. Provide general customer service and assistance to students, families, and visitors. Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment. Follow all district, school, and athletic department policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or designee. Qualifications Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff, students, officials, and the public. Previous experience working athletic events is preferred but not required. Must be available to work assigned athletic events, including evenings and weekends. Must be able to successfully pass a required background check.
