We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) to join our growing behavioral health team in Taos, New Mexico . As a CPSW, you will use your lived experience with recovery to inspire hope, build meaningful connections, and empower individuals to achieve their recovery goals. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary behavioral health team providing individual and group peer support services while helping individuals build confidence, resilience, and independence. Use your lived experience to encourage hope, engagement, and recovery. Build supportive relationships with individuals receiving behavioral health services. Facilitate peer support groups. Meet individually with clients to provide peer support and recovery coaching. Assist clients in developing coping skills, daily living skills, social skills, and self-advocacy. Support clients in achieving goals identified in their individualized recovery plans. Help clients connect with community resources, employment, education, healthcare, housing, and other supportive services as needed. Collaborate with therapists, medical providers, case managers, and other members of the treatment team. Maintain timely, accurate, and Medicaid-compliant documentation in the electronic health record. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development. Perform other duties that support the agency's mission and client care. QualificationsRequired Current New Mexico Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) Certification. High school diploma or GED. Valid New Mexico driver's license. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass required background checks. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience working in behavioral health. Experience facilitating peer support groups. Knowledge of recovery-oriented care and trauma-informed practices. Experience using EMR Bear or another electronic health record system. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
